In case you were wondering, I am a "professional" musician and an "amateur" photographer. Whatever that means.
Daddy by day, guitar instructor by evening and photographer by night if you want the specifics.
Which means I can't walk, change a diaper, listen to a cd, go for a hike get a cup of coffee or ride a freakin muzak tainted elevator without thinking about work.
Poor, poor Mr. Quick.
If it's sound or light, I'm thinking about it. My whole existence should be tax deductible. I'm just sayin.
Looking to collaborate. Looking for more students. Looking for a teacher. Looking for a venue. Looking. I've been a shut-in for far too long. Looking to get out of my box.
Am I in the right place for this? Come on Vancouver. Bring it.

Ha ha...I had no idea a Powershot could do that!
Thanks! I actually shot this with a Canon Powershot A630, so no special lenses. But for a point-and-shoot it's got a ton of great features, like being able to manual focus as close as 1 cm from the lens.
This is really cool. What type of lens did you use? It looks almost microscopic.
